Geography Is Just Around Me~

During the winter vacation, I spent most of the time staying in my hometown, visiting my relatives and old friends. Just before the Lantern Festival's coming, I went to The Thirtieth session of Lantern Festival in Baotu Spring with my parents. It is an old tradition that Chinese people gather together with their families to celebrate this festival every year. We walk along the streets with plentiful lanterns hang around, wathch the Full moon late in the night, and have a special kind of sweet food which could be decribed as glutinous rice balls. There has been quite a while since I visited the Baotu Spring last time.

As I've known, this year's Lantern Festival deviced the sprirt of Transmission, Development and the up coming Sports Competition of all Chinese citizens as a major part of its subject. It is a great association between the humanities and the nature. There were a total of 36 groups of lanterns decorated all around the park. With the lights reflected from the spring water, the whole area was immediately flaring out of the darkness at night.

Furthermore, the reason why thousands of people would like to come and visit Baotu Spring is that it is one of the top hot attractions in my hometown, Jinan Shandong Province. It was gifted a natural landscape, the springs, which has kept gushing from the underground since it stared to re-spout seven years ago.
Baotu Spring contained three holes of spring where water comes out of the ground. During the winter time, I felt that the pure spring water still remained at its temperature due to the flow directly from the underground that it was even warmer than the cold atmosphere in the surroundings. I could see the thin cloud of steam rising from the surface of water.

Under this trip, an evident interaction between the Human geography and the Physical geography was revealed in my daily life.
